The Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) operates several large parks in central Texas. When three of those parks decided to install mini golf courses, I was asked to create playful, theme-park style maps to sit at the entrance of the courses.
The challenge in this particular job was that I was asked to build the maps before the courses were completed. I was given photographs of the work in progress and rough sketches of the course designs. From there, we landed on a playful art style and created the maps.
